Why bake
The problem
Cookie Chain is a fast, cheap, community-owned SVM blockchain โ programs deploy for pennies with sub-second finality. But developer tooling on Cookie Chain today is almost entirely vanilla Solana CLI pointed at a different RPC endpoint.
There's:
- โ No deployment orchestration
- โ No on-chain deploy history
- โ No casual rollback
- โ No security-gated deploy flow
These gaps are listed as future work on Cookie Chain's own roadmap.
How bake closes the gap
Every command is designed around one idea: Cookie Chain's economics make things possible that are impractical anywhere else.
- Rollback that costs cents โ
bake rollbackrebuilds and redeploys a previous commit - Permanent on-chain history โ every deploy registers in the Recipe Book
- Cryptographic proof โ
bake proveverifies on-chain binary matches your record - Agent-native โ
bake mcpexposes capabilities to AI agents with safety-first design

Vision
If you're deploying a program on Cookie Chain, you should be using bake.
